DEBT FREE CITIZENS + DEBT FREE MONEY.

US, UK and EU ARE EFFECTIVELY INSOLVENT.

EU BAILOUT IS GOING TO FAIL.

GREECE IS A SCAPEGOAT.

CITIZENS ACROSS US/UK/EU ARE GOING TO SUFFER FROM AUSTERITY MEASURES, EXTREME TAXATION AND INFLATION.

THE REAL PROBLEM IS IN THE INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM.

TAXING THE RICH AND THE BANKERS  IS NOT  A SOLUTION.

CONTROL OF MONEY MUST BE RETURNED BACK TO THE GOVERNMENTS.

GOVERNMENTS MUST BE ACCOUNTABLE TO CITIZENS (NOT TO THEIR SPONSORS).

WITHOUT ACHIEVING THESE GOALS WE ARE GOING TO SEE VERY, VERY BAD THINGS IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Finally, the eyes of good people are beginning to focus on those, who have been raping this world for so many, many years. The bankers, supranational and superrich investors, multinational corporations, etc....Lets call them collectivelly BANK & CORP.

These unelected and uncontrollable groups created a system based on debt, valueless financial paper and electronic assets. Coupled with unlimited supply of debt-based "money" , this virtual system grew exponentially. http://theoldspeakjournal.wordpress.com/2011/10/04/goldman-sachs-citibank-jp-morgan-chase-bank-of-america-have-assets-of-5-trillion-carry-235-trillion-in-risk-exposure-13-of-world-total/

This ruthless and unregulated financial system gave the BANK & CORP virtually unlimited POWER + unimaginable PROFIT. It spread across the world = GLOBALISATION.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdYwAXZh0ME&feature=related

BANK & CORP have been using fraudulent activities to maximize their gains and  in the process they have brought the world economy to near collapse.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rz1b__MdtHY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T389e9StiAc&feature=related

Their actions put millions of people in poverty. Their actions brought wars and death to many.  Their actions led to severe damage to the environment. They plunder the Earth. They are guilty but always unpunsihed. They are beyond any control as they are bigger than any government

They control "money" and through money they control the society. The unelected BANK & CORP runs the show, not our governments.

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws"   M.A.B.Rothschild

They are very smart and very dangerous. They move from place to place, suck it out and move on. They are pretty much finished here in the West. Their next stop is in the East. 3 billion of people in China, India, Russia .... 3 billion of people who want the same lifestyle we have enjoyed for decades. Now THAT'S a good market for BANK & CORP....

"Much like a biological cancer single-mindedly programmed to take over the body, rogue financial instruments and players have mindlessly aimed for growth at all costs. Faced with the limits of growth to real wealth, the financial system has manufactured what has been called a "shadow banking system" that creates "value" out of whole cloth by simply assigning and exchanging it. This has culminated in a 70 trillion dollar market for credit default "swaps" (CDSs), an unregulated insurance..."  Charles Hugh Smith

We need to know the history of the banking cartel as only those who understand the history can fully understand the present events. If you have time - watch this free documentary:
http://freedocumentaries.org/teatro.php?filmID=243&lan=en&size=big

We need to know that BANK & CORP is not the only culprit. There are some very important "collaborators":

  1. CORRUPT or INCOMPETENT (or BOTH) POLITICIANS
  2. US FEDERAL RESERVE
  3. INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND
  4. WORLD BANK
  5. EUROPEAN UNION
  6. EUROPEAN COMMISSION
  7. EUROPEAN CENTRAL BANK & OTHER CENTRAL BANKS
  8. HEDGE FUNDS AND OTHER MACRO-SPECULATORS (using techniques such as High Frequency Trading or other artificial financial instruments e.g. Futures, Options, Swaps)

All these (and many others) helped to create and maintain the corupt and fraudulent virtual financial system. Even if not actively collaborating they failed to regulate, they failed to act in time, they failed to warn the remaining 99% citizens !!

And perhaps the most important "collaborator" of all was us = 99% ordinary citizens !!!!!!!  Us - uneducated. Us - not paying attention. Us - uniterested.

SO WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO (WE 99%) ?

1. CITIZENS MUST UNDERSTANDS HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS
Monopoly on the Money Supply   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIx_F56dsTM&feature=related
Poverty/Debt is not a Choice        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juQc0rLdB-E&feature=related

2. DEBT FREE MONEY
Possible solution http://www.positivemoney.org.uk/our-proposals/video/

3. DEBT FREE POPULATION
We can only have debt free population if we have debt free money. As long as banks control the money supply all the economy is based on debt only >  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juQc0rLdB-E&feature=related

4."REGULATED"  POLITICIANS
There must be a system in place that severely limits blending politicians with BANK & CORP. There must be severe punishment for politicians who abuse their public function for personal benefit during or after their office term.

5. AUTONOMOUS & SOUVEREIGN NATIONS
Nations should be free to choose their destiny. No artificial superstate
(e.g. EU or USSR) should ever have authority over a democratically elected national government.

6. CHANGE  CURRENT MODE OF EXISTENCE BASED ON "GROWTH OF CONSUMPTION"  INTO A "SUSTAINABLE & ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY" ONE
This is going to be the most diffcult and perhaps impossible goal to achieve. But no doubt it is the most important one to aim at achieving.....

WHY IS THE "CRISIS" HAPENNING

I recently came across an excellent analysis of our current trouble. I could not write anything better so I am just posting the critical excerpts from the article:

Imaginary Worth, Empire of Debt: How Modern Finance Created Its Own Downfall (October 15, 2008) by Charles Hugh Smith

original source: http://www.oftwominds.com/blogoct08/positives3-10-08.html

How did we get here? The current global financial unraveling and meltdown has brought us face-to-face with a stark and uncomfortable truth: with all its reassuring numbers, our financial system is a human system, based on human frailties and desires, resting almost completely upon imaginary notions of worth.

From the bartering of material goods and services, to the convenient exchange of dollars no longer backed by anything but faith, to "creative" financial vehicles that leverage essentially symbolic wealth to an infinite degree, we have progressively departed from the foundation of what was once considered financial worth—the competent stakeholdership, ownership, and stewardship of real property involving labor, earnings, investment, risk, reward, and responsibility.

Much like a biological cancer single-mindedly programmed to take over the body, rogue financial instruments and players have mindlessly aimed for growth at all costs. Faced with the limits of growth to real wealth, the financial system has manufactured what has been called a "shadow banking system" that creates "value" out of whole cloth by simply assigning and exchanging it. This has culminated in a 70 trillion dollar market for credit default "swaps" (CDSs), an unregulated insurance, which is the subject of the following essays.

Infinite growth is impossible in a finite system. One can be very creative about assigning worth and developing unlimited growth in assigned worth, but real worth remains constrained to its moorings—can it create quality of life, can it feed, shelter, and clothe, can it produce clean air and water, can it create lasting fulfillment? Even the magic of percentages and myths about "houses always going up in value" assume unlimited growth in environmental and financial systems with limits. Infinite growth premises are demonstrably false in finite systems. What they really seem communicate is, “Let the next generation deal with the consequences as long as I get my maximum returns now.”

There is no such real thing as "externalized" liability in a global system. As with the exploitation of natural resources, there is always a cost to any action, which seeks to extract value. Someone has to pay the price. The more interconnected a system, the more readily and strongly that price will turn up to affect all the players including the initial beneficiaries.

Finance systems need to be straightforward and transparent.  Corporations have started shell companies to hide off-the-balance deficits. Rating agencies assessed junk as AAA, facilitating the sale of that junk to pension funds, who were only interested in secure investments. All this was hidden behind so-called "complexity" (a mantra repeated brainlessly in the media).

Debts are not assets. Buying debt can appear to be a good investment on paper, but this rests on ability to pay. When debts are so constructed to create unreasonable re-payment (fast accelerating interest and principal payments rapidly outstripping the equity of collateral) they will fail.

Monopolies and concentrations of wealth ruin economies by binding up the flow of goods and services and freezing exchange. Healthy systems both natural and financial depend upon high diversity and exchange among distinct entities each offering something of real value. This is why a rain forest is considered a very rich system—many niches, many species all participate in the web of life.   This is why Henry Ford said he needed to make his wages high enough and his cars cheap enough for his own workers to buy them. This is why a large middle class is the bedrock of a functioning democracy.  Debt instruments had the effect of swallowing the normal citizen and worker’s paycheck paralyzing his or her ability to spend after the borrowing value of his or her assets (i.e. houses) were tapped out. This has been exacerbated in America by declining real wages, non-compensated increased productivity, and outsourced jobs. This has been further demonstrated by banks’ unwillingness to lend to each other. When the flow of money stops, financial systems seize up.

Without regulation and actual risk involving real consequences the financial system and its leaders will run wild. This one would again seem to be obvious, yet this law was ignored as well. Myths about the superiority of a market based on greed and acquisition to regulate itself don’t make any sense even on the face. Yet the world system, and in particular the American system driven by neo-conservative ideology, hailed deregulation as the triumph of "freedom."

Chief executive officers of large corporations could take huge risks for their companies and reap hundreds of millions of dollars of salaries, or completely run their companies into the ground as those risks came home to roost and get "only" tens of millions of dollars of golden parachutes. Reckless behavior is guaranteed if it is rewarded more than prudent, intelligent behavior in an economic system. From an acquisition standpoint, this is individually "rational" behavior, even though it is unhealthy and irrational from a system standpoint.

The question might be asked, "Why were all these very simple and obvious maxims ignored? What were people thinking?" I think much of it centers around the fact that people’s education and identity still has its roots in a long-past industrial age. People still tend to make their meaning and choices based upon largely myopic, compartmentalized, and stratified knowledge.

Even well educated people rarely look deeply into the big picture and to whether their particular perceptions, assumptions, and knowledge reasonably fit with other parts of a system.

Generally, if we can make some money, feed our families, and have some fun, we don’t really care what the system is doing. Now we are invited to engage bigger-picture thinking as a necessity in our day-to-day life.

Houston, we (EU/US/UK) have a problem....oh, we are actually going down !!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE ECONOMY ?

By now even the most open minded optimist must admit that something weird is happening in the world economy.

"Crisis" = any event that is an unstable and dangerous situation affecting an individual, group, community or whole society. The word "crisis" implies that something can/must be done relatively quickly to resolve it and to restore the "normal" conditions again.

What we are experiencing now is not an event though. It is a process that has started many years ago and it is now culminating and manifesting itself  ( please check my "Watch and Read" links to see some clever people explaining it in plain English ) .

The concept of a society based on ever increasing consumption, decreasing production, unlimited supply of cheap energy and cheap credit is now officially on its way out.  We will have to first recognize it, then accept it and finally we will have to adjust to the new reality......all that will take some time and some pain, unhappiness, unrest, violence, etc....

The US/EU/UK financial trouble is escalating. The amount of debt in the West is staggering and frankly unpayable. Check the US debt clock to see the speed with which the US debt is increasing    http://www.usdebtclock.org/

Maybe, like many others, you hope that someone capable is managing the events ......perhaps Cameron, Sarkozy, Obama, Merkel, Lagard, Berlusconi, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, UN ?

Or you may think that someone will come and pay all those bills. Maybe China or Russia ? Or maybe the mighty banks like J.P.Morgan or Goldman Sachs will figure something out and save the game ......so that the party can start again ?
http://maxkeiser.com/2011/06/29/total-net-derivative-exposure-jpm/

And you may hope that if something bad was to happen, the media will inform you in time to prepare for it .

Wake up, please !

This is not a controlled process.

It is a free fall with some last minute collateral damage limitation.

And you are the last one to be informed about the true state of affairs by the media that are either corrupt or lagging behind the events by days to months.

The domino effect has already started:
French,German and UK banks are exposed to bad debt  from Greece,Spain,Portugal,Italy and Ireland. US banks are exposed to themselves,French,German and UK banks.

http://graphics.thomsonreuters.com/11/07/EZ_BNKEXP0711_SB.html

And WE ARE EXPOSED TO ALL THE BANKS because WE WILL PROVIDE THE MONEY to bail the banks, investors, corporations and governments out. By the money I do not mean the increasingly useless $/£/€.  We are going to pay for all that financial fraud by lowering our living standards, working harder, longer, for less and for decades to come.

But that's the future. What are we going to experience this year and next year ? Who knows. Without some crucial information (that will never be shared with the general population anyway) we can only speculate.

So please take my "predictions" and "advice" with a pinch of salt. Do your own thinking and research. But do it !  Because something is going to pop soon and you should be ready.

Here is what I expect to happen in the near future:

1.   US/UK/EU will continue QE (quantitative easing a.k.a. printing money out of thin air) to recapitalize banks to prevent bank collapses, runs on the banks and other financial havoc.

2.   Prices of food, energies and other goods will keep rising steadily (if we are lucky) or exponentially (if we are less fortunate). This is called inflation caused by all that extra cash pushed into the economy. We all feel it already. But government will maintain that they have inflation "under control" and that the inflation will start falling next year.

3.   The purchasing power of fiat currencies such as £, $ or € will continue to decline. This is also the effect of "printing too much money out of thin air"  or QE. Fiat currency has value only because of government regulation or law and it is not backed-up by anything else. As such it is easily abused by financial institutions and governments.

4.   In the meantime gold and silver prices will keep rising as the desperate investors will seek safe havens to preserve their wealth or savings.

5.   International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB) and European Central Bank (ECB) will demand a decisive action from the politicians. The following suggestions are going to be on the menu, guaranteed: Increase taxes. Introduce new taxes. Cut the pensions. Cut health care and social expenditures. Cut the salaries of state employees. Fire state employees. Sell state owned assets. And always, always, always support your banking system to avoid world wide collapse !!!!  The creation of the "United States of Europe" will be proposed

6.   Greece will default officially. It has already defaulted in real life.

7.   Following Greece the other EU nations will get closer to default: Italy, Spain, Ireland, Portugal.

8.   First few EU banks will collapse. They will be quickly bailed out or "acquired" by bigger EU banks.

9.  Eventually the EU bailout program will fail no matter what Sarkozy, Merkel & All will come up with. Remember the US have already pledged over $ 11 trillion over the last few years and the US economy is still declining.

10. Germany, the last remaining truly productive economy in the EU (and the last EU mega credit card for bailouts) may eventually decide to jump EU and reintroduce the Deutsche Mark. Would that mean the end of € ?

11. Meanwhile the US/UK/EU citizen will get squeezed. Unemployment in double digits, prices rising, people spending more and more on food and energies, discretionary spending (holidays, entertainment, clothing, TVs, phones) virtually disappearing....etc. You get the picture.

12. Some unpleasant social consequences will occur: manifestations, strikes, urban violence and crime, nationalism, racism, etc.

13. Eventually the interest rates will start rising.

14. Finally we will end up in a DEFLATION (in which people have no money to buy staff) or in a HYPERINFLATION (in which people have lots of worthless money). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMY3aJwhfqg

Is it just a financial problem or is there something else going on ??

There are 4 major issues at the background that in my view will have negative long term impact on the US/UK/EU population:
  1. Uncontrollable global financial and corporate oligarchy (corporatocracy). Huge amount of capital is concentrated in the hands of a few superpowerful and superrich groups (large private banks, corporations, sovereign wealth funds, etc). These groups control trillions of $/£/€. They are beyond any control. They shift their wast capital from place to place in order to extract maximum profit. By doing so they literally decide about the fate of people, regions, countries.  http://knowledge.wharton.upenn.edu/article.cfm?articleid=1868
  2. US/UK/EU are in trouble not just because their financial system is failing. It is because their economies are not based on productive capacity anymore. These are now service economies only. For the last 15-20 years we kept borrowing money to consume things and services produced elsewhere (mainly in China). Our luxurious lifestyle, expensive social programs and irresponsible wars abroad resulted in a gigantic and unpayable state debt. To recover from this situation we would have to start produce better and cheaper products than China. Can we do it quickly ? Fat chance...
  3. Further global economic growth is unsustainable and mathematically impossible. China's economy alone grows by 7-9% per year. If this rate of growth persists China will, in the next 10 years, produce and consume the same amount of "staff" as it did in its entire history up to now. There is probably not enough raw materials in the world to make that possible.
  4. Increasing spending power of the 3 billion of people living in the BRIC (Brazil, India, Russia, China) and other previously underdeveloped countries. As the new middle class is created "there" there will be a proportional decline of the middle class "here". Too many of relatively wealthy "them" will compete for resources (food, water, oil) with now relatively poor "us".
  5. Peak Oil Factor. According to this theory we have reached the peak of oil production. If the theory is right we will be facing declining supply of oil in the world that has increasing demand for it. Since our modern civilization is totally dependent on oil the consequences of Peak Oil would be extreme. We are being reassured by "experts" that some other form of energy will replace oil but so far no such alternative source that could power our energy hungry communities has been found

AM I TOO PESSIMISTIC, TOO DOOMY&GLOOMY HERE ??

Well, only time will tell.

Watching the actions of our Masters -  the IICCs (incompetent and inept or competent and corrupt = politicians, banksters, corporate CEOs, hedge funds managers and other unelected powerful groups like IMF, WB, ECB) does not exactly fill me with confidence.

So, back to good old basic rule: "Prepare for the worst and hope for the best". My advice is as follows:

  1. Consolidate any debt you may have now ! Negotiate fixed interest rates with your lender even if these are higher than those you pay now.
  2. Only keep enough cash in your bank for your routine, necessary and expected expenditures.
  3. Do not keep your savings in cash. Do not invest into any paper based assets denominated in USD, GBP or Euro
  4. Buy gold and silver coins. Even if the metals seem overpriced they still are a very good hedge against the coming inflation.Gold and silver coins are very liquid and tradeable even in SHTF situation.
  5. You can buy real estate or shares of good companies but you must understand the market and you must not use any loan with variable interest rate to finance these investments. Also remember that during a major crisis you may not be able to trade these assets.
  6. Do your self-sufficiency check. Are there any aspects of your life where you are totally dependent on government, governmental agencies or "automated" supply systems (food stores, electricity, gas, water, etc). Now imagine that the agency or supply chain fails. How long are you and your loved ones going to survive without them and what would you need to do. This analysis can easily identify your vulnerable areas.
  7. Buy food with long shelf life and other items of daily use in bulk (in sales) and hoard these at home. This will save you money by buying at lower prices. If hyperinflation occurs, people may need to spend everything they have just for food. Remember, any major economic hit could mean panic buying in which case shops will be empty within days. If you have supplies at home to keep you going for at least 6 months you are likely to withstand the first impact and then adjust to the new conditions better.
  8. Further advice on more comprehensive and rather more "crazy" survival strategies can be found here:
